It seems fitting that our first qualification round of the 2016 competition season is an alliance with our friends, the Ligorbots from Newton, and a no-show team. Considering our drive team has had virtually no practice actually driving the robot before the competition, this was a round without a lot of scoring. Nevertheless, everyone who had a role in building this functional robot should be very proud. We crossed the Low Bar defense in autonomous mode and we worked together with our alliance partner to breach the Sally Port defense during tele-op. The Sally Port is arguably the most difficult defense in the lineup. It is interesting to see the view from behind the driving station and the interaction between alliance members.
